Our History
Central Christian School began its educational ministry in 1975 with the intent of training Christian leaders for the future. God has blessed the work in significant ways and we continue to trust Him for its progress. As an integral part of Central Mennonite Church, C.C.S. aims to provide excellent academic and spiritual training to its student community, and to be a source of inspiration and blessing to its parents and staff.
Our Aim
- To protect our youth form the pollutions of the world. “. . . Having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust” (II Peter 1:4). “. . . That you may prove yourselves to be blameless and innocent, children of God above reproach in the world” (Philippians 2:14)
- “Looking for the blessed hope and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Savior Jesus Christ” (Titus 2:13).
- To provide our youth with excellent academic training in a Christian atmosphere “The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge. . .” (Proverbs 1:7). “Train up a child in the way he should go and when he is old he will not depart from it” (Proverbs 22:6)
- To build Christian character through strong discipline and to develop individual creativity, talents, and abilities. “. . . On the other hand, discipline yourselves for the purpose of godliness” (I Timothy 4:7). “And since we have gifts that differ according to the grace given to us, let each exercise them accordingly. . .” (Romans 12:6)
- To assist each parent and child in seeking God’s will and purpose for meaningful and useful Christian service in the world. “The world is passing away and also its lusts, but the one who does the Will of God abides forever” (I John 2:17)
- To conduct our school activities under the leading of the Holy Spirit to the glory of God, thought our Lord Jesus Christ. To accomplish this, we will emphasize Bible studies, Biblical relevance to daily living, prayer, and godly worship “For all who are being led by the Spirit of God, these are the sons of God” (Romans 8:14). “Now to the Kind eternal, immortal, invisible, the only wise God, be honor and glory forever and ever. Amen” (I Timothy 1:17)
